This sounds a different kind of title - Do You Understand your Lover? Doesn’t everybody do? Sadly not many of us understand our partners fully. If we had understood our lovers, the rates of separations and divorces would have gone down substantially instead of increasing. You may ask- if I don't understand my love than how are we so good partners? Why he/she enjoys me? Why are we together? Let me talk about these.

What does it mean by understanding? It is again a difficult question. Knowing about likes and dislikes does not mean understanding. To understand means to know the values, the life goals and the priorities of a person. To understand means to know what incidences made what impacts on that person. To understand means - you will be able to predict the reaction of your partner at a crucial moment. Can you do that with surety?

In the beginning of our relationship, we all talk about good things of life. Our focus is more to please our partner. Our focus is to get more pleasure in their company. we never think about the underlying psychological motivators at that time. After the relationship develop little further, we find that many times we get baffled by what our partner says and vice-versa. That side of his/her character we never knew. If this is something, we can accept easily, we will forget about it, or fissures will develop at this juncture.

Not many partners are totally honest with each other about their deepest thoughts, desires and fears. If I fear that you may one day leave me, because I doubt your long term loyalty, will I ever tell you about that fear? Such hidden thoughts create a wall between the partners that can be never crossed. Only few manage to break it. Once you do that and tell everything about yourself and your thoughts and get to know everything about your partner, the relationship will grow stronger. These kinds of relationships were common in the earlier days but are rare now.

Attraction is a very powerful tool to use to get what you want, if you know the proper way to use it.People interact with each other on a daily basis, and most times this is because one person needs something from the other. In the business world, for example, you may have a product or service to sell while the other person is looking for such a product. To sell your product or service to them, you will have to convince the other person that he will be satisfied with the services you render according to his needs.
In other words, the way to get anybody to do what you want is to make them want to do it. Trying to get what you want through intimidation or force is asking for trouble. Yes, it's possible but not advisable to use forceful methods, because the results are short term and can even be disastrous.
So how do you get others to do what you want? Simple. Give them what they want. That is the secret to attraction. And what is it that people want? Good health, love, and financial security are the basic desires of people.

Some History about Osiris & Isis...

Osiris is the most famous of the gods of Ancient Egypt as well as the Lord of the Afterlife. He presides over the last judgment of the soul. Isis was the sister and wife of Osiris and the mother of the god Horus. The birth of Isis and Osiris is besieged with mystique and charisma. Their mother Nut was cursed with childlessness and yet determined, managed to conceive Osiris, Isis, Set and Nephthys. Osiris was married to the lovely Isis and the handsome couple was much desired after, loved and admired throughout Egypt. He was hailed as the God of Love while Isis earned her stripes as the patron saint of women, children and mothers. Osiris was a wise ruler who schooled his subjects in the tillings of land, vegetation and other crafts of agriculture. His wife and dearest consort Isis ruled wisely beside her husband for several years. Their happiness and success did not go down well with Set who burned with jealousy. Set is characterized in Egyptian mythology as the God Desert, Storm, and Violence. Because of Set's jealousy he plotted an evil plan to trap his brother into a coffin that was already customized to size. As soon as Osiris stepped inside the coffin it was shut tight by his brother's associates and pushed into the Nile River. When Isis found out, she was shattered in the extreme. It brought out the determination and resolve that Isis had in mind. As she wiped her tears she set out looking for the coffin containing her dead husband. She roamed from land to land till she came to Byblos where she found the coffin next to a cedar tree which acted as one of the pillars supporting the main place. Isis had to seek the permission of the queen to extricate the coffin containing the dead Osiris. Set found out about Isis' discovery that he shattered the coffin to smithereens. Isis set out on a painstaking journey to locate the pieces. As she found each one she consecrated the place by getting a shrine constructed in his name. Finally piecing him together she revived him for awhile. She was then able to conceive Horus, their son, who finally avenged Osiris death by killing his uncle. Another version of the story mentions that Set found the casket while out hunting and was so angry that he chopped the body of Osiris into pieces, and scattered the parts througout the land of Egypt. And Isis set out again looking for the parts of her husband. She found all the parts except one and reassembled Osiris and wrapped him in bandages. In some accounts Isis breathed life back into Osiris' body and it was then that Horus was conceived. Either way the young Horus when went out to battle his uncle Set and to avenge his father's death. Osiris was declared king of the underworld and God of the Dead, Horus king of the living, and Set the ruler of the deserts as the god of chaos and evil. Such is the power of love...
